and also, i have to post these Aldo-lookalike (fcuk) shoes i got last weekend... because my (guy) friends attested that girls looked better in high heels, and that i should wear them everyday! (they kinda hated the boots btw)... and i wonder, what if i really dressed up as a semi-whore? i bet they're really gonna LOVE it! haha! boys! tsk tsk. which reminds me, i still have those sequined tube top from mango that i could wear as a bandage skirt with these...

its almost Christmas, and i bet Shanghai weather's starting to be ice-cold *shudders* yes, my last year's winter moments are still traumatic... i'm so thankful i'm no longer there, now!

but what's funny is, while i'm covered with wool and fleece all over, most girls there wear it vivi style!

so there was this really great study which shows that most luxury designers denies of having their products "Made in China", but in reality, almost everything is ïndeed - "Made in China" - though nobody speaks about it. Giorgo Armani and Coach were among the more 'vulgar' ones to admit so.. and now they're all shifting to Vietnam - where labor is 20% to 30% cheaper than China (or 60% lower than that of European countries). My friend once set off to Guangdong, China (where most of the factories for luxury items are located) and bought some items, which she claimed looks pretty much the real thing (she frequently buys real stuffs btw) that we wonder, "could these be actually the real thing? knowing that most of the brands today manufactures their products there...?"

and if only my new targets could speak to me, they'd probably say this...

but then again, that's why we are called shopaholics right? (which sometimes, i don't know... is it actually good? or bad?)

one of my fave purchase from some time ago.

btw, i'm currently on a shopping BAN! huuu.. cos i promised to wear ALL of my clothes first before buying new ones again (but wishy wishy on december... wonder what i'll want for christmas *cough* spoiled *cough* brat??) hehehe.. having my own apartment or prosperous business perhaps? better than clothes, i see :) God, if only!

but really, what i really want is priceless :) joy/ happiness/ love/ peace/ family/ God.

back to the roots

ever since i got back here (manila-land), i kinda felt LAZY dressing up. and for some odd reasons, i kept wearing OLD clothes and flats, and in non-rainy days - my dear old havaianas. i dont know, maybe its because (1) i no longer work in the corporate setting (2) the weather is making me uber lazy than usual (rainy/gloomy weather) (3) there's obviously no streetstyle here, as my lifestyle (as most flips are) is basically INDOORS - we just dress up for the mall, office, or the bar.. but whatever other reasons there are, i also feel (a bit) GLAD cos i can save more moolah's... and for my HK escapade next month! *yipeee!* 

anyway, going back to manila... before i left it, i was obsessed with multiply - which is like ebay for me! -  and i buy almost all of my stuffs there (and used to sell some too :)) 

i haven't gotten my hands on ebay yet, but before i subscribe (and drown myself with goodies there :)), i just want to share you two of my fave local fashionista's and multiply sellers :)

and yes, i wanna join the ebay craze cos i NEED to get rid of some stuffs in my closet! (people here just don't buy 2nd hand, i guess). but the amount of work in inventory etc. is making me... yup, LAZY! :(

i also heard its storming down there / weather is bad... and we expect 4 typhoons for august alone! *pft* so... hmmmm...

i'll be a BUM for a couple of days... i'm still preparing myself to be the COO of a company (child of owner). ~hehe. one of the most boring jobs of all... but i have goals, don't worry! it's either i look up to Ivanka Trump (building an empire) or Carla Bruni (marry up!)!!! kidding. but ilove BOTH girls.. :)

(2) again, i'm loving the slouchy pants and layering... i should wear my knit vest this way!

thanks to all the people who greeted on my legal birthday! (^.^) legal = birth date as of legal documents and papers (passports, etc.) and we figured its too complicated to change since we just discovered that the date on my birth certi is wrong! after we have filed for every legal papers etc. i don't know what's wrong with my parents! maybe i was adopted?? haha! but its ok as long as i keep receiving goodies from them *amamaterial much?*.. anyway... my real birthday is coming up! :) but my migraine is still here once in a while :( pft.

monotone cool for summer

i'm evil. i didn't go to work this morning (still thinking whether to go this afternoon).. and guess what i am doing now - blogging. damn, this ain't good!

anyway, i just got the new issue of vivi yesterday... and i was inspired with the oversized tees, and monochromatic look (well, i was indeed focused in everything 'black & white' since most of my clothes here are basics (work clothes) - when i should be 'working' in shanghai and not 'blogging')!
