Whilst this incident isn't in way serious - thankfully, it's not every day that you see a Bentley Continental and a Maybach 62 scraping sides (or ends, we can't tell with certainty from the video). According to the Russian media, the accident happened somewhere in Moscow when the driver of the Bentley lost control of the car due the slippery conditions of the road. Thanks for the tip Allen!

Bentley Reveals New Accessories Collection, Includes Bucket-Like Child Seat

Just in time for the Christmas shopping season (okay, for those that can afford a Bentley, there's no such thing as a shopping season..), Bentley has launched a new line of accessories. Our favorite piece by far is the new selection of child seats that come with the same color, piping, fluting and hand-stitching as that of the car's interior. And if that isn't enough, customers may also opt to have their child's name embroidered on the seat back beneath the Bentley Wings.

More into buying accessories for the car itself? No problem. Bentley also offers a new set of Vented Wings in black or mesh finish available for the Continental GT, GTC and Flying Spur, and self-leveling wheel badges that remain completely level and upright at speeds of up to 70mph (112 Km/h) for the Arnage, Azure, Brooklands and Continental.

Other highlights of the new collection include specific car covers for the Continental Supersports and Series 51 GT and GTC models and a new version of Bentley's Jewelled Torch that can be recharged from the car's cigar (sic...) lighter.

Bentley Continental GT Bullet by TopCar: From Russia with Love

TopCar, a Russian tuning firm that we got to know after its custom package for the new Porsche Panamera sports saloon, has just announced an aerodynamic and wheel programme for Bentley's Continental GT and GT Speed coupe models. Called "Bullet", the package includes a new bonnet with air-intakes, a GT Speed grille (only for the GT obviously), front bumper with LED daytime running lights and a lip spoiler, side skirts and rear bumper with an integrated diffuser and side air-vents.

A discreet boot lid spoiler, new exhaust tips, tinted front and rear lights and the black window frames and lower moldings complete the aero package. Furthermore, the GT Speed's 20-inch alloys are finished in a darker shade and are available for the 'base' Continental GT.

The total cost of the aero kit including the forged alloy wheels amounts to €25,000 (about $37,000 US) while customers can opt for carbon fiber parts in which case the price increases to €30,000 (approximately $44,000 US). If you like the matte black finish on the model pictured here, then you'll have to deposit another €7,000 or $10,300 US.

The company said that it also developing new front fenders with large air-intakes that can be seen on the white Continental GT in the gallery. The cost for the front fenders is €5,000 or $7,300 at today's exchange rates.

Bentley to Debut Special Edition Series 51 Continental Range in Frankfurt

Along with the all-new Mulsanne limo that will make its first appearance on European soil, Bentley's Frankfurt Motor Show stand will also stage the world premiere of the Series 51 Continental models. Named after the year that the first official styling department was established in Crewe by John Blatchley, the man behind the design of the original 1950s Bentley Continentals, the Series 51 models feature distinctive interior and exterior color schemes as well as special design cues.

The first example of the Series 51 will be the Continental GTC that receives a three-tone interior with Imperial Blue as a main and secondary hide, Linen seat and door inserts and Newmarket Tan as the accent color.

Other unique interior details include the use of non-indented hide for diamond quilting, contrast piping for the seats and doors as well as bespoke Series 51 treadplates, a limited-edition Amboyna veneer trim and color matched overmats and boot carpets.

On the outside, the Series 51 Continental convertible has been upgraded with 20-inch 14-spoke polished alloy wheels with a dark center cap and signature '51' badges on the front wings.

Bentley said that buyers of the series will also be able to further personalize their vehicles with a new two-tone exterior finish with one color running over the bonnet, roof and flowing down to the boot, along with various other additional options and accessories.

VIDEO: Bentley Continental Supersports' Run at Goodwood Hill Climb Course

Bentley's latest model, the Continental Supersports that utilizes an E85 capable 6.0-liter W12 engine producing 621HP, was one of the newest sports cars to participate at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed (July 3-5). Behind the steering wheel of the Continental Supersports was former Le Mans racer and honorary "Bentley Boy" Derek Bell. Follow the jump to watch the Bell tackling the challenging 1.16-mile Goodwood hill-climb course in the fastest and most powerful car in Bentley's 90-year history.

Mysterious Bentley Continental GT Spied in Spain: Could it be a Hybrid Prototype?

To be completely honest, we were quite hesitant to post these photos of a mysterious Bentley Continental GT coupe that was snapped by one of our spy photographers in western Spain, close to the borders with Portugal. Our man claimed that the Continental GT was equipped with some sort of electric motor / battery pack, visible from the rear window. While it looks like there's something present in the trunk, unfortunately, the photos aren't clear enough for us make a positive ID.

Bentley Continental GT Hybrid - julino billymSo why did we decide to post these photographs then? Well, thing is that we have been hearing rumors about a gasoline -or diesel- electric hybrid model from Bentley for quite some time now. So even though the positioning of the electric motor/ battery pack (whatever that is in the photos) might seem weird, it could be a prototype model used to test the system.

But without any additional info from a credible inside source, all this is just pure speculation, and we're definitely not in the business of making stories up.

And yes, the thought that the alleged test driver might have been just carrying some sort of equipment in the trunk, did pass through our mind. So for the time being and until we discover something new, just consider this article as a sort of a 'think-out-loud' post. As always, if you have any thoughts -serious or humorous- don't keep them to yourselves, scroll down to the comment section and share them with us.
